The field attachment at Rwebitaba Zonal Agricultural Research and Development Institute ZARDI commenced on 06/08/2024. The one-month practical experience, fulfilling 40% of the course's practical component, provided insight into various enterprises within the institute. The attachment involved extensive engagement with activities across different programs, including crop and natural resource research, animal resource research, technology promotion and outreach research programs. Throughout the attachment period, diverse activities were undertaken, encompassing pasture identification and pasture management, agroforestry, tea production, potato harvesting and seed trials, banana management, apiculture, aquaculture, and livestock production. The experience did not only deepen my theoretical knowledge but also provided practical exposure, contributing to a well-rounded understanding of agricultural practices and research methodologies. The field attachment concluded on 06/09/2024, marking the successful completion of this hands-on learning opportunity.en_US
