    Abstract
The aim of this supervised field attachment was to put the theoretical work into practice so as to acquire technical and professional agricultural experience and skills in the operation and management of different agricultural enterprises thus the preparation for a career in Agricultural extension worker. The areas covered at while at Rwebitaba ZARDI were crop production which comprised of bananas, maize, rice, cassava, tomatoes and Agroforestry, with animal production areas covered included livestock management, aquaculture, and Apiculture. In the above areas covered, I gained knowledge and skills in identification of animal diseases like mastitis, the effect of weather to bees, how to prepare a banana planting material. However, while at Rwebitaba ZARDI I encountered few challenges which include; excessive use of chemicals which did not fit well with my programme and I was able to them adopt integrated pest management practices and organic farming, limited time with my supervisor this was mitigated by involving me in some activities available with the casual workers and also used to delicate someone to take me through. In addition, I recommended that the Rwebitaba ZARDI should adopt organic farming as this ensures conserves the environment, the supervisor should always fix enough time for the interns.
