The field attachment at Rwebitaba Zonal Agricultural Research and Development Institute ZARDI commenced on September 27, 2023, following a brief orientation by Mr. Dominic. The one-month practical experience, fulfilling 40% of the course's practical component, provided insight into various enterprises within the institute. The attachment involved extensive engagement with activities across different programs, including crop and natural resource research, animal resource research, technology promotion and outreach research programs. Throughout the attachment period, diverse activities were undertaken, encompassing field layout and pasture management, soya bean trial establishment, vegetables production, cassava production, maize production, rice production, agroforestry, soil and water conservation, apiculture, aquaculture, and livestock production. The experience not only deepened theoretical knowledge but also provided practical exposure, contributing to a well-rounded understanding of agricultural practices and research methodologies. The field attachment concluded on October 28, 2023, marking the successful completion of this hands-on learning opportunity.en_US
